Ester is short and when she wants to be, quite unassuming. She is not strong enough to wear heavy armour or large weapons. She has a plain face, with blue eyes and long white hair which is usually set in a long ponytail. (It is unknown if she is realated to the Targaryan or not), she also has a scar which runs vertically down her left eye, but she can still see fine.
In terms of clothing, she has two main outfits. Her normal outfit is for the most part bright white. With the occasional addition of something that is either sapphire blue, or sometimes red.
when she is trying to be unassuming and unnoticed, she will wear commoners clothing, usually muted and dull greys and browns, and always a shawl which completely coverers her hair.
With both outfits however, she will also have a simple necklace with a small black rock in the centre, which is all she has from her family.

Personality:
Ester for the most part is a good person, who on first meeting seems very outgoing, friendly and helpful. And for the most part she is as well. She will often help people when she can, no matter how small the matter and unimportant the person. While she is not particularly agreeable, if she disagrees with something she will say it in a friendly manner and is almost never cruel no matter what the circumstances are. This means that it is very easy to underestimate her, which is usually exactly what she wants you to think. While she believes in the greater good, she also believes that there are many things that are not worth sacrificing for the greater good.
On the other hand, she is not honourable, and many of her actions are sly and without honour. She has no respect for authority and the laws of the land. While she dislikes the Targaryan’s, it should not be said that she supports the rebellion, and she dislikes them as well. Many would label her as an anarchist; however she has no problem with order, just the current nobility themselves. She is an atheist, and and openly disagrees with superstitions and social conventions.
If she lived a normal life, she would likely be a scholar or teacher, as she loves to read and write, and is very interested in both philosophy and history. In addition, if she was a man, then she would have probably become a general or strategist, as she can be very sneaky, and an excessive planner, meaning that she will always have a backup plan for just about every situation.
But her most noticeable trait is that she is one of the most determined individuals out there. Once she starts something she will do it, no matter how impossible it sounds, and no matter how much she will have to do to get it done. Combined with her intelligence and complete disregard for the rules make her very dangerous.

Skills: Ester's primary skills are her intelligence and charisma. She is very good at planning things out and making plots. She will usually also have several different back up plans up for many different circumstances. In terms of charisma, she is a skilled singer and speaker. She can be very eloquent when she wants to be, and it shows in that almost all of her organization has been created by her. Finally, she is very good at inspiring loyalty in her followers.
In terms of fighting, she is not the best. Her main advantages are her agility and speed, and mostly the fact that most people underestimate her. While she can fight and better than the common man, she is by no means an expert.
History: Ester was born in a small village in The King's Wood; a small quiet place just outside of King's Landing. Her family, while not poor, were also not rich or part of the nobility. They were, in short, very normal. Ester's father was a merchant of medium success, so much so that she and her younger sister were given an education. Not having any sons, her parents let Ester learned all sorts of things boys would, as in tactics and swordplay as well as art and history. Ester showed an aptitude for books at an early age, and would often argue various points with her teacher... and just about anyone who made the mistake of bringing it up. Being raised in a quiet place, Ester was separated from the chaos and politics which plagued the rest of the land… for a time.
However, when she was 15, a group of drunken soldiers came to her village. Seeing Ester’s home, they raided it, stealing whatever they could. Ester's father tried to fight them off, and he was killed. Someone started a fire, and in the confusion Ester managed to run into the woods nearby. The next day she returned, only to find that her house had been burned down, and her parents dead. Her sister was nowhere to be found, and the only thing that survived the fire was a small necklace her mother had owned. The other locals, fearing that Ester would want revenge on the soldiers and cause trouble for everyone, ignored her plight and told her to leave.
And so, she did leave. Eventually she found her way into King's Landing. She found her own little place in the city and a stable job.
At first she simply tried to find news of her sister and the soldiers who had done this, however, nobody even knew about the incident. Finding herself hating the royal family for what they had done, and also seeing the poverty and despair from the mad kings direct rule, after a year in King’s Landing she joined a group of local dissidents. To her surprise, she found that she was easily the smartest member of the group, and rose through their ranks. About another year later, their group was found out by the city guard, and most of the members were killed or arrested, and then executed anyway. At the age of 17, Ester was given charge of the reminder of the group.
The next three years showed a remarked difference for the group, through careful manipulation, Ester managed to first recruit new members again, and then united each group of dissidents in the city. The new group, known as the resistance, or by their official name- The Nightingales, were led by Ester. However, their greatest weapon was secrecy, and so Ester took the Alias- Sidereus. Even in the Nightingales, only the highest level members know who that Ester is the leader, most do not even know she exists at all. Indeed, most people assume that Sidereus is a man.
Now, the Nightingales have influence in almost every part of the city, and in every part of the cities hierarchy. Very few people know much about them, and many people, especially in the upper class; do not even believe that they exist.
